What makes Inspire Balance Mother-Daughter Yoga different?

This is not a typical yoga class.  Girls and moms are not expected to be quiet, still or perform poses with perfect form.  The only expectation of Inspire Balance Mother-Daughter Yoga is to bond, have fun, and feel good.  Therefore, it is important to have a lighthearted attitude when you teach IB MDY and emphasize that if a pose hurts, don’t do it.  Offer modifications, child’s pose or savasana instead.

The tone of a IB MDY class is that of energy, joy, and playfulness.  Expect and encourage laughter, silliness, individuality, and creativity.   As a teacher, it’s important to set expectations, while also going with the flow.  Don’t try to control or manage.  Create a space that is warm and welcoming, inspiring, and informative, playful, and fun.
